Challenge v Corkbeg in Ballyadam Park on Sunday 19th February 2017
The boys played there second game in as many weeks in Ballyadam in very different conditions to last week. Gone was the freezing conditions to be replaced by a very muddy surface.
Corkbeg were the opposition today for a mini blitz with a total of 16 games played. The conditions under foot made it hard work for both teams but both sides really tried to play football. The games were played in a spirited but fair fashion with both sides giving their all. With so many games played the players got to experience a number of different positions, adopting to the different roles very well.
The crowd to watch were treated to some spectacular goals from both sides, free kicks, headers, long range efforts and some superb individual goals, it’s great to see the lads enjoy their football and entertain the onlookers. No more could be asked of them, they put a lot of effort in on the training ground and are showing it in their matches….Well done lads…..Carrig Abu
