Under-15 CSL Div 1 at Ballyadam

Carrigtwohill United – 6

Everton – 0

Back to business for  Carrigtwohill United Under-15’s in Division 1 as they hosted Everton in the league at Ballyadam this Saturday morning.

The home side started well and kept hold of possession quite comfortably and a goal was threatening for quite a while. It was Carrigtwohill that broke the deadlock with a beautiful left foot volley by Jayden Washeka that hit the roof of the net. One to remember.

Shortly afterwards team captain Colm Harte slotted home a great strike to make it 2 nil going into halftime.

Second half resumed and again the home side were well on top. Kian O’Sullivan came on for Rollie Durango and wasn’t on the pitch long before firing home a third goal.

Everton found it quite difficult to retain possession at times but in fairness they kept up the fight.

A fourth goal came after a determined Noah O’Neill finished off a nice passage of play. The home side after this just excelled and things were one sided with Colm Harte again on the score sheet.

Everton gave all they could but it just wasn’t good enough on the day when the home side just kept pressing and in the last few minutes Leslie Edwards made it 6.

A convincing win for the Carrigtwohill side in the end.

Carrigtwohill Scores: Jayden Washeka, Colm Harte (2), Kian O’Sullivan, Noah O’Neill, Leslie Edwards
