Under-14 – Kennedy Cup Squad
It was a fairy tale story for Carrigtwohill United representatives at the Cork Kennedy Cup trials. Whilst it was probably very clear that Colm Harte and Rolie Durango would represent the club at the trials, it was more uncertain who the third candidate would be.
However, this player displayed what hard work, discipline, determination and consistency can bring to any young player. Throughout lock-down, he had a strict personal training regime and dietary schedule. Congratulations to Ethan Collins for leading by example and is a surprise package who is constantly improving his game.
All 4 candidates, including goalkeeper Sebastian, went through 3 rounds of assessment and the 3 outfield players made it to the final squad of 30 from close to 100 players.
