Our fist outing in 4 months saw a good performance against 10 man Church villa. Both sides were very rusty after the long winter spell. It was even steven for the first 10 minutes at which point Carrig won a penalty which was well tucked away by Ronan McCrave. Thereafter the game opened up and some great interplay saw Alfred grab a hat trick, with goals also coming from Niall and Darragh Ymedji.
Churchvilla tried really hard with no 10 & 6 standing out, but with only 10 players were always fighting an uphill battle. The Cahalane twins worked very hard in midfield, with Sam also showing great work rate when introduced. Overall a good team performance.
