On Thursday 25th & Sunday 28th August, the u11s played their first games of the 2016-17 season away to Corkbeg (friendly) & away to Watergrasshill (Schoolboys League).
Due to the numbers available, instead of the usual 7v7 games played at u11, 11 a side games were played on both occasions. While this was not ideal and a new experience for our u11s , the lads really enjoyed the “big game” experience and after shaky starts in the games, they grew more confident to finish both games strongly.
