League v Douglas Hall  in Ballyadam Park on Sunday 26th October 2014
Carrigtwohill United 4 Douglas Hall 0
Scorers: Conor Keegan, Tom O Brien, Cormac Horgan, Conor Harte

On Sunday afternoon in very windy conditions, we welcomed Douglas Hall to Ballyadam Park. Carrigtwohill, playing against the wind, found it hard to gain an advantage over a pressing Douglas but on the 25th minute, Conor Keegan got on the end of Andrew McMahon’s corner and sent a looping volley past the keeper. Carrig dominated the rest of the half without creating many chances.

With Carrig playing with the wind in the second half, there was only going to be one winner. Tom O’Brien got on the scoresheet on 48 minutes when he struck a free kick from inside his own half which looped over the Douglas keeper. Cormac Horgan scored his 16th of the season on 70 minutes and Conor Harte got in on the act following good interplay between himself and Billy Manning before beating a couple of men and cooly slotting past their keeper. An impressive win by Carrigtwohill to keep them top of the table after 8 games.
