Report:
On Sunday afternoon we hosted Crosshaven in our first home league game of the season. The heavy rain from Sat night had cleared and Bally adam was looking magnificent  in the autumn sunshine. We sported our changed colours as our opponents also wear blue. The boys always love wearing the yellow kit and their enthusiasm and vigour echoed this on the pitch.
Again we had a strong panel to choose from with 19 players on show, the format as always 2× 7v7 twin games. Following a brief warm up the team sheet was completed and the games commenced. Carrigtwohill started brightly, our midfield dominating possession and setting up some good scoring chances. Crosshaven provided a stern test for our lads who duly responded with some flowing passing football covering every inch of the pitch. This led to plenty of goalscoring opportunities which we converted many, some brilliant  teams goals and one or two outstanding individual efforts.
In defence we looked solid and well organised (something  the boys have worked hard on in training ). Special mention to our keepers who pulled off some spectacular saves. All in all a great run out for the lads and fair to say Carrigtwohill came out on top.
Niall Barry and Tom Walsh were tops for one side while Liam o Connell and Noah N shone for the other. Well done to all involved.
