We had a tricky draw in the AOH 3rd round away to Leeview on a all weather surface against a team who have had some big results at home. Game started at 100 miles per hour and us having only played a tough game on Sunday we struggled early on to get to grips with the pace of the pitch. Nill all at half time was a fair result but after the break we turned on the style at times and got 3 very good goals .
First goal on 50 min a sweet right footed volley from Pa Burns after poor clearance from keeper. We then were able to play with freedom and second goal from Alan Lynch, a tidy finish after excellent through ball from Mick Sullivan. 3rd and final goal from Martin Carroll sealed a great win and a clean sheet. Back to league next Sunday away to Macroom.
