League v Passage United in Passage on Saturday 28th April 2018

Our u9s played another round of CSL games this weekend, with 16 of our u9s travelling to Passage to play out a series of small sided games v Passage u9s. In the present “soft” conditions, it was great for our gang to have the rain hold off and get some valuable game time on grass, and in sunshine!

Passage proved a strong test for our u9s, and the experience of playing a strong skillful team was an eye opener for many of our young players. But the experience will stand them well in the years ahead. These CSL games at u9 level are all about gaining actual match practice and experience, as well as developing and learning the skills of the game.

Every week these committed players are showing improvement, which is very evident in training and these small sided games. All the coaches are delighted with the progress being made by all the players. It is brilliant to see the enthusiasm they have for their football and they all seem to be really enjoying the opportunities of challenging themselves against these other teams.

Well done gang.
