Our March 2018 player of the month was presented after a recent game in Ballyadam.
Our first winner was Cillian McCarthy. Cillian, who plays holding or attacking midfielder, deserved his award for the work he puts in at training and matches. His all action play means he is either breaking up opposition attacks or setting up chances for his team mates. Also able to chip in with goals, Cillian is a very valuable member of our squad.
Our 2nd winner this month is central defender Ben Murphy. Ben leads the team from the back with his leadership role at the back. A great reader of the game who controls his back line expertly and is a deserving monthly winner.
