League v Ringmahon Rangers A in Ringmahon Park on Sunday 25th Febraury 2018
Ringmahon Rangers A 0 Carrigtwohill United 2
Scores: Tadgh Sullivan, Cian Lee

We travelled up to Mahon for our latest league game v Ringmahon Rangers A with revenge on our minds after losing 3 2 at home early in the season. The continuing improvement in the squad was visible for all to see. On a very crisp spring morning with a biting wind blowing into our faces in the first half we took a while to get going in the game. Chances were at a premium at both ends and the half finished nil all.

Regrouping at half time the lads responded with a brilliant 2nd half performance. Taking complete control of the game and driving forward at every opportunity it was only a matter of time before we took the lead. A brilliant ball from the back by man of the match Ben Murphy in behind Ringmahon’s defence for Tadgh Sul to race threw on goal to finish to corner. With our tails up we drove forward and won another corner Ben’s excellent delivery was handled on the line penalty Carrig. Up stepped Cian Lee to find the corner. 2 nil up. A great squad  performance again from the lads who continue to grow in confidence.Well done lads.
