League v Youghal United in Ballyadam Park on Sunday 1st October 2017
We played host to Youghal Utd this Sunday afternoon in another league game. After today’s game we have now played everyone in our group once. This non competitive league is a great way to get the game time they need and challenge themselves against some good teams.
Youghal provided a good test for the lads today and both teams played some great football in tightly contested games. The game were tough but fair with both sides giving everything. The lads worked well as a team and really supported each other on the pitch. It’s the effort and hard work the lads put in is starting to show with some great performances and goals. The defensive side of the team is improving with every game, with players getting to grips with their positions.
These games are a real team effort with every player in the squad contributing to the performances. Well done lads….Carrig Abu.
