CUFC Under-11 V Carrigaline Hibs

In this week’s round of league games, Carrigtwohill played host to a good Carrigaline Hibs team. The weather was perfect on Sunday afternoon for the four 7v7 games and both sides were well supported.

All the games were played in a great spirit which is a credit to both Carrigtwohill and Carrigaline. The two sides tried to play football on the ground and it’s easy to see the strides the lads have made recently. Players are trying to find each other with a pass and are becoming more confident and as a result we scored a few fantastic teams goals with great passing combinations and clinical finishing. There were also a couple of spectacular individual goals. The defence is looking solid with all the players prepared to work for the team and well marshalled by our super keepers.

We had a large panel of players today and everyone rotated and played in different positions. All involved did their jobs superbly but the lads that deserve a special mention are Morgan and Kyle on one side with Osas and Rian on the other. Another great performance, keep enjoying the football, well done lads.
