League v Midleton in Mart Field on Saturday 29th April 2017
The u9s travelled the short distance to Midleton in the latest round of small sided games. We played 4 matches in what can only be described as testing conditions, but the rain couldn’t dampen the boys enthusiasm.
The games we’re play in a great spirit as usual, the boys always represent themselves and the club very well. There were some fantastic performances from both sides. The games were very competitive and had all the spectators well entertained with the skills on show. It’s great to see that with every passing game the boys are developing an understanding of the game and the different roles/positions on the pitch.
There’s a great team spirit forming, with all the boys very supportive of each other. This can only bode well for the future with these young boys both on and off the pitch….all there hard work was well rewarded with delicious after match cakes!!!
