League v Lakewood Athletic in Ballincollig on Monday 14th May 2018
On Monday 14th May, 18 of our u9s traveled to Ballincollig to take on Lakewood in another series of small sided games. On what was a lovely evening for football, our u9s each got to play 2 no. competitive games against Lakewood, who were very welcoming opponents.
The reports coming back from Lakewood were all extremely positive. Everyone agrees that all the players in this committed squad are really improving with every game that passes. It’s brilliant to see the confidence growing in all the u9s, as well as their development as footballers. Their team play and positional awareness is really getting better and better.
A really strong bond is developing in this group and all this suggests that they will enjoy many years together on many football fields to come.
