League v Glounthaune United in Ballyadam Park on Saturday 6th May 2017

Our u9’s had another local derby for the second week in a row in their league. This week we played Glounthane in Ballyadam. The conditions were perfect for the latest round of our league matches.

With the games coming every weekend the lads are getting used to playing in the small sided games and are working hard on trying to play football with a focus on getting used to positions, passing the ball on the ground and playing good football. These games are a perfect opportunity to practice all their hard work in training.

Glounthane provided great competition in all the games and the lads as always gave 100%, both sides gave everything and played very well. Its a credit to both sides the way they played. This evening there was some spectacular individual goals but what was really eye catching was a couple of fantastic team goals, with every player really supporting and working hard for their teammates..

Well done lads. Carrig Abu…
