Carrigtwohill United 5 Leeds A 1
Scorers
– Billy Manning, Philip Dorgan, Brendan Twomey, Darragh McCann 2.

Carrigtwohill recorded their sixth win in the league against Leeds in Ballyadam on Sunday morning. Carrig were slow to get into the game and while they had plenty of possession their use of the ball was poor. Leeds took advantage of this and scored after 15 minutes . Carrig came to life after the goal and were level 10 minutes later when Billy Manning scored with a header from Dylan McCann’s corner. Then just before half time Darragh McCann put Carrig ahead when he got on the end of a David Grimes free.

Carrig took control of the game in the second half and played some good football. Dylan McCann had a great game on the wing and set Philip Dorgan up for Carrig’s third goal 10 minutes into the half. Brendan Twomey was doing well from midfield and his reward came after he made a great break through the middle to score Carrig’s fourth goal. Then on the stroke of full time David Grimes crossed for Darragh McCann to score his second goal of the match and Carrig’s fifth. After a slow start this was a very important win to maintain Carrig’s 100 percent record in the league.
