Carrigtwohill United – 2

Bweeng Rovers – 4

In our 1st game in nearly 4 weeks due to weather we went down to a spirited Bweeng team.

In terrible conditions for both teams we went down 1 nil from a ball hit up and over the defence from the opposition defence.
We had 2 chances by Matty Korona but both chances were missed.
An opposition player ran from his own right back position unchallenged up our left and squared the ball 2-0 and our keeper had no chance with either goal.

We hit the post twice towards the end of the 1st half but somehow ball stayed out of the net. To say it was a half to forget would be an understatement.

We made 3 subs at half time and instantly looked more dangerous but another lapse in concentration at the back and we were 3 down.
The team never gave up and rallied and scored 2 quick goals through great footwork from Ryan Moore, game on.

We hit the crossbar twice in the next few minutes 1 from Matty and the other from Kuba.
The opposition keepers goal being hit with everything but the ball would not go in.
A break away from the opposition and a defensive error lead to us going 4-2 down but the lads kept battling but just could not find the net.

A special mention to Jack O’Keeffe who had a terrific 2nd half as well as Ryan Moore.

Man of the match Jack O’Keeffe
Best for Carrigtohill Ryan Moore
