League v Carrigaline United A in Ballyadam Park on Sunday 12th October 2014
Carrigtwohill United 1 Carrigaline United A 3
Scorers: Kelvin Boampong.
On a great morning for a match both teams started brightly.  Led by captain Ronan McCrave, we played some good football.  Our defence was doing very well, with  Liam, Ronan and Eloghsa doing great work, and John doing some great covering.  Up front Kelvin was playing well, and could have had a few goals but for some outstanding keeping by the opposition keeper.  As it turned out we were caught on a break away goal and trailed 1 Nil at half time.

The second have started like the first, with our midfield of Lorcan, Calvin, Kuba and Joeseph all trying there best to get us back into the match.  Ronan flashed a great header goal words from a great cross by Kuba, but again the opposition keeper saved well.  We made some changes to try and get back into the game with Noel, Cian and Nathan coming off the bench.  Ben made a great save to keep us in the game.  We pushed forward in search of a goal, but got caught for a second 2-0 to the opposition.  We never gave up and Kelvin scored a great goal with 5 minutes left, 2-1 game on.  However straight from the kick off the opposition scored, and it was game over 3-1.  The lads tried very hard and deserved to get something from the game, well done to all.
