League v Springfield Ramblers in Cobh on Sunday 19th November 2017

Today we travelled to Cobh to take on Springfield Ramblers in latest round of u10 league games. The league has been of huge benefit to the lads, with having played eight league matches so far this season, the development of the team has been fantastic. The lads always represent themselves and the club fantastically and today was no different.

The conditions were very heavy underfoot which made it hard going for both teams, but to their credit both sides tried to played football on the ground. Some of the passages of play were fantastic, the passing and support play is starting to develop and you can really see players starting to understand the positions they are asked to play in. There were some brilliant individual performances but all these were overshadowed by the group effort and hard work to support each other, every player today had a hand in a great performance, Springfield also were a credit to their club, giving their all, with both sides playing the game in a great spirit.

There’s a real group spirit forming within the team, long may it continue. Well done lads….brilliant as always…Carrig Abu.
