Munster Junior Cup v Glen Celtic B in Glen Park on Saturday 29th November 2014
Carrigtwohill United 3 Glen Celtic B 3
Carrigtwohill win 3-2 on penalties
Scorers: Alan Stapleton, OG, Michael Sullivan.

After not playing a competitive game since 10 Oct we were always going to be rusty, which proved to be the case. After dominating  possession and creating chances for first 30 min on a very poor pitch you could only see one winner in this game. But football is a funny game and in 11 crazy min we found ourselves 3 down at half time .

Even at half time with the amount of the ball we had we felt if we could score one we would get 3. Change at  half time bringing on extra striker helped us have more bodies in there box. Again we peppered there goal getting the break through 25 min to go with a wonderful free kick from Alan . We had all the momentum and introducing Packie O’Connor giving us 3 strikers  up top made us even more potent . A great cross from mick sull was turned into own goal by a defender .

Now its game on 3-2 with 6 min left eventually own our pressure told with Mick Sull  poking home from close range in final min 3-3 now and into extra time. Both teams had worked so hard extra time was a slog but only for a top drawer save from Mick Cremin the Glen would have taking the lead again. On to the lottery own of pens which Carrig won 3-2 .

Next round is  away trip to either Piltown or Dungarvan at the end of January.
This week we have AOH Cup v Blackpool Celtic.
