AUL Division 3 v Temple United in Ballyadam Park on Saturday 29th November 2014
Carrigtwohill United 4 Temple United 1
Scorers: Darragh Behan 2, Gary Sheehan, Tom O’Shea.

Carrigtwohill had a great win at home to Temple Utd to strengthen their position at the top of the table. Carrig started strongly and went 1up after 10mins when a poor clearance from the Temple keeper fell straight to Darragh Beehan, who lobbed it back over his head from 35 yards. It was 2-0 after 15mins when the Temple keeper misjudged a free kick from halfway by Gary Sheehan and it sailed over his head into the net. Darragh Behan was causing a lot of problems for the Temple defense and he made it 3-0 after 35mins when he finished well after some good interplay with Paul Feehan. Carrig continued to pile on the pressure while the defense handled everything Temple could throw at them but it remained 3-0 until half time.

Temple started the 2nd half well and scored almost immediately when their left winger scored from the 2nd attempt after the Carrig defense turned their back on his initial scuffed shot. That was as good as it got for Temple as Carrig continued to dominate the game and made it 4-1 after 60mins when Tom O’Shea finished well after a great buildup involving a number of players. Ken Murphy thought he had made it 5 soon after but his effort was ruled out for offside. Temple did create a couple of half chances but Mugus made a good save from one effort and Lenny O’Halloran bravely headed away from the resulting corner. Overall a great performance and a vital 3 points.

Ballyseedy Home & Gardens Man of the Match: Darragh Beehan.
