League v City Wanderers in Ballyadam Park on Sunday 11th January 2015
Carrigtwohill United 3 City Wanderers 0
Scorer: Paul Feehan 2, Lenny Hurley

Carrigtwohill secured another 3 points at home to City Wanderers with an excellent performance in Ballyadam on Sunday morning. Playing against a strong wind in the 1st half, Carrig got off to a great start with a goal after 5 mins. When they were awarded an indirect free kick at the edge of the box, Davy Barry rolled it to Paul Feehan, who clipped it into the top corner. The defense came under a lot of pressure in the 1st half but Davy Barry and Gary Sheehan were excellent. City Wanderers created a couple of chances – one of which was an excellent shot from outside the box that was heading for the top corner until Mugus made a great save. Carrig hit City Wanderers on the break a couple of times in the 1st half but couldn’t add to their score.

With the wind at their backs, Carrig dominated the 2nd half with Ian Kenny and Tom O’Shea driving them on from midfield. Lenny Hurley made it 2-0 after 60mins when he finished well after some good play from Tom O’Shea and Mahamad Adam. Paul Feehan should have made it 3 a few mins later when Mahamad put him through on goal with a great run and pass but he lifted the ball over the bar. Paul made it 3-0 after 75mins when he finished well after some more good work from Mahamad. Tom O’Shea hit the post late with a shot from the edge of the box but it finished 3-0.
