On Sunday 2nd September 2018, our u10s kicked off the new 2018-19 season with a set of friendly games against neighbours Corkbeg, at home in Ballyadam Park. After a rainy start, the sky cleared and Ballyadam was looking brilliant again in the sunshine. In line with the FAI Player Development Plan, our u10s have progressed to a seven aside games format and an increased pitch size. On Sunday, our squad of players got a good opportunity to get loads of practice with the new pitch size and playing format, as we played 3 no. simultaneous small sided games together, in a blitz format. All the u10s got to play 3 no. games, with all games played in very good spirits, as well as with the commitment and enthusiasm we have become accustomed to with this great group of players. The levels of skill, ball control and determination on view in all the games, was brilliant to see.

Thanks again to Enda and his coaches with Corkbeg u10s, who’s like minded approach, made the event very fair and enjoyable for all concerned. It was great to see all the happy (and tired!!) faces at the end of the games.

Well done gang!
