League v Glen Celtic C in Glen Park on Sunday 25th January 2015
Carrigtwohill United B 2 Glen Celtic C 1
Scorers: Lenny O’Halloran, Lenny Hurley

Carrigtwohill came away from Glen Park with a valuable 3 points on Sunday morning. On a very heavy pitch Carrig started the game really well playing some excellent football in difficult underfoot conditions. Despite creating a lot of chances the final ball was letting Carrig down. Ian Kenny had a great chance after going past a few Glen players but rolled his shot just past the post. After 30 mins Carrig were awarded a penalty when Mahamad Adam was fouled inside the area and Lenny O’Halloran tucked away the penalty. Carrig continued to create chances but could not increase their lead in the 1st half.

Glen Celtic made 3 changes at half time and started to cause problems for the Carrig defense but could not get the goal their play deserved. Carrig eventually started to regain control of the game again and went 2-0 ahead when Mahamad Adam made a great run down the right and crossed for Lenny Hurley to tuck it away after 70mins. Glen Celtic kept going though and made it 2-1 after 75mins when their striker beat the offside trap and ran through to score. Carrig continued to press and Ken Murphy and Brendan Cronin had great chances to stretch the lead but couldn’t finish. Carrig saw out the game to win 2-1.
