Under-9
On Saturday afternoon, Carrigtwohill United Under-9’s made the short journey down the road to take on local rivals Midleton in a challenge match. Thanks to the hosts, whose likeminded approach meant all games were played to the FAI guidelines for 5v5 SSG and in a great spirit.
With 24 players travelling for Carrigtwohill, they played 4 by 4 5-aside games with the sub rolling on/off giving everyone optimum game time.
All teams were very competitive but fun at the same time with some brilliant passing, spectacular goals and fine goalkeeping.
All in all, a superb afternoon for football and everyone went home with a smile on their faces – well done to all involved
