Current league leaders Carrigaline United Under-16’s travelled to Ballyadam for this weekend’s league fixture.
Carrigtwohill suffered a tough home defeat to a well organised Carrigaline United who were full value for the win.
Carrigaline took the lead with some well organised play.
Carrigtwohill had two chances to draw level, a header by Luke McDonnell that was saved by the keeper and a shot by Robbie Griffin that to that went just over the post. Carrigaline scored another three goals, all taken well.
Notable mention for Cal Flavin who stepped up from the U15s today.
Carrigtwohill will regroup to get ready for their next league matches as the fixtures are coming thick and fast due to bad weather resulting in a backlog of fixtures.
