We welcomed Midleton to Ballyadam Park on Sunday came away with another 3 points. The first half was a very scrappy affair with neither team creating much chances. Carrig probably had the better of them with Cormac Horgan coming close after a good run. 0-0 at half time.

Carrig upped the tempo in the second half and this led to the opening goal from Tom O’ Brien on the hour mark following a good corner from Andrew McMahon. Ten minutes later, Carrigtwohill doubled their advantage when a great pass by O’ Brien found McMahon who crossed perfectly for Horgan to finish brilliantly. The game was wrapped up on the 80th minute when Horgan scored his tenth goal in five games. Carrig continue with their good start to the season with five wins from five games.
